Radiologic Findings of Pulmonary Histiocytosis X.(Case Report)

Abstract
|
|
|
Histiocytosis X is a rare disease of unknown etiology, characterized by development of granulomatous lesions with histiocytic proliferation.
Pulmonary involvement occurs as part of generalized disease process or as a separate entity referred to as primary pulmonary histiocytosis X.
A case of unusual pulmonary histiocytosis X in a young child is reported with brief review of literature.
In radiologic findings of chest, severe honeycombing with moderate pneumothorax was visualized in both lung fields.
